Benign lesion gastric wall


Clinical information

Female patient 80 years old, abdominal ultrasound in relation to last follow-up after colon carcinoma for which sigmoid resection was performed 5 years ago. No metastases. No complaints.

Brief description

As an incidental finding, a hypoechoic well-defined lesion is visible in the gastric wall. It has a benign aspect. Further analysis through gastroscopy and biopsy confirmed it to be a leiomyoma
