5 year old boy, Enlarged kidneys

Longitudinal image of the enlarged right kidney. The kidney measures more than 14 centimeter. There is loss of definition and distortion of the renal sinus echo complex.

Conclusion

The kidneys were enlarged because of renal leukemic infiltration. After treatment with chemotherapy the size of the kidneys returned to normal.
