About the Website
This website is developed by SonoSkills, a leading provider of ultrasound training. It was originally founded by Dr. Taco Geertsma (1951–2023). SonoSkills continues his original mission by maintaining an open platform where anyone can share interesting cases—for the community, by the community.
The platform serves as a teaching resource, featuring a wide range of general ultrasound cases collected over many years. These cases originate from the teaching files of Dr. Geertsma and have been expanded with contributions from numerous authors who share up-to-date cases.
Each case includes images in multiple projections, with annotations highlighting key features. In some cases, video loops are provided to demonstrate dynamic aspects of pathology. When available, additional imaging from modalities such as MRI and X-ray is included to support diagnosis and learning.
